About
Volunteer shifts for Pride in the Plaza at Mission Plaza. The event runs 10am–5pm, but volunteer shifts begin at 8am and end at 6pm. SHIFT BREAKDOWN: 🔧 Setup Crew: 8am–10am 🏳️🌈 Safety Patrol & First Aid (Morning Half): 9:30 am–2pm 🏳️🌈 Safety Patrol & First Aid (All Day): 9:30am–5pm 📦 Takedown Crew: 5pm–6pm Sign up for the shift that works for you — all-day heroes especially welcome!

- Check-in Lead — Revel Creator JZ · Greets volunteers at check-in, hands out vests and assignments, and tracks who's arrived for each shift.

Run list
- Confirm the first aid station location and stock the kits
- Set up the first aid tent with tables, water jugs, and cot before doors open
- Hold a safety team briefing/training before doors so patrol knows rotations, first aid station, and lost-child steps
- Hand out safety vests and walkie-talkies to the safety team at check-in
- Confirm with Red Cross that they'll deliver the first aid tent, tables, water jugs, and cot on event day
