How people grow here

From a first shift to starting something of your own.

Most people start with two hours. Revel Sphere is built so the next step is always small, someone is there to meet you at it, and what you did travels with you.

Six steps, each one small.

This is how we design, not a ranking. Nobody is shown a step. It is the lens we use to make sure someone is there at each one.

  1. Step 1: You show up.

A first shift, a first gathering. Two hours, no more asked.

    What is here for you

Someone meets you by name. Within a day you hear a thank-you that says what you, specifically, did, and the next shift is one tap away.

  2. Step 2: You come back.

A second time, within the season. The same crew is there.

    What is here for you

Recurring blocks mean the people you met are the people you see again. Your hours start adding up, and you can watch them.

  3. Step 3: You’re a regular.

You know people. The group knows you.

    What is here for you

When an organizer asks you to take something on, it is a real ask with a clear scope. You can pause without quitting.

  4. Step 4: You hold a role.

Saturday lead. Check-in. Supplies. Something recurring is yours.

    What is here for you

Step back for a season when life needs it; the role waits, and the hours you logged stay yours.

  5. Step 5: You help plan.

You sit in on planning, not just the doing.

    What is here for you

Meetings with decisions, a committee under the group, a say in what it becomes.

  6. Step 6: You make the room.

You co-organize first, then run a gathering of your own.

    What is here for you

Afterwards you hear what it did: how many came, how many were new to you, how many people met for the first time. Some go on to start a group of their own, under the host that raised them.

Two things we hold to

Built for two hours at a time.

Most people have an afternoon, not a weekly commitment. So the first ask is small, and the climb happens in steps you can take on a Tuesday.

A pause from a group is not a pause from the community.

One profile and one hours record, across every sphere and every county. Move, get busy, come back: the next group already knows what you have done.

Civic ambassadors · county by county

Someone has to be standing at each step.

In each county, a civic ambassador anchors the hub: the first face on the feed, the host of the first gathering, the person who meets a newcomer by name and asks a regular to hold something. Local first, but not alone. The seat is open in most counties.

Bring a question

What the organizer sees.

After each gathering, a wrap: how many showed up, how many had never been to one of yours, how many first meetings happened in the room. On your season card, the number that describes a host: how many people have shown up to something you ran.

For an organization, one report across the spheres you run, hours and people in one picture, with a verification link you can hand to a funder.
