Promo kit
Everything you need to share the link, in one place.
Approved wording, the marks, and sample posts for each kind of person you talk to. Copy what fits, change the words to sound like you, and keep the three rules.
Partners see their own link filled in here. Visitors see a placeholder.
Your link
Your link lives on your partner page
Once you are an approved partner, this page fills every sample with your own link. Until then, the samples show a placeholder.
In one line
Say what Revel Sphere is.
Four ways to say it, each true on its own. Pick one, or write yours in the same spirit.
Revel Sphere is a shared space where a small group plans, signs people up, checks them in and follows up together.
Free, accessible tools so communities can organize committees and launch projects together.
Find your people. Plant something together.
Local first, but not alone.
Who you are talking to
Five audiences, each with its own words.
The same link lands differently with a volunteer than with a fiscal sponsor. Each section names who belongs in it, what becomes possible for them, and three messages to start from: a direct message to one person, a short post for a feed, and a longer one for an email or a newsletter. Every one says the link is yours.
Reposting and direct messages
The routine that works on Instagram, and anywhere else people show up in comments and stories.
Repost the Revel Sphere posts from your area, with a line of your own on top. Your link goes in your bio, or in the first comment.
When someone from one of the groups below shows up, in a comment, a share or a story, send that group's direct message. One person at a time, by name, with the detail that made you notice them.
Say it is your link in the message itself, not only in your bio. No follow-up nudges: if they want it, the link is there.
The hashtag #revelvolunteers finds the people in the first group. The hashtags your county already uses find the rest.

Your regulars see the next date before they leave. I am a Revel Sphere affiliate, so this is my link, and I am glad to help set up the first listing: [your link]

Hi [name], I follow the work [organization] does and wanted to pass along one thing: Revel Sphere handles volunteer signups, shift check-in and the hours report in one shared space. I am a Revel Sphere affiliate, so this is my link: [your link]. If a short walkthrough would help, say the word.

Longer, for an email or a newsletter
If you run a program with volunteers, Revel Sphere is the shared space I would point you to: post the shifts, let people sign up and check in, and pull the hours report when the grant report is due. A public page for your organization comes with it, and your co-leads see the same thing you do. I am a Revel Sphere affiliate, so this is my link, and I am glad to walk through it with you: [your link]

The marks
Use the mark as it is.
Download the files below. The wordmark is lowercase, with sphere in italic; the mark comes with its gold ring. Give it room, keep its colors, and never stretch or recolor it.

Primary mark with the gold ring
PNG, 295 by 265 px. The canonical mark. Use this one first.
- Download
Mark as SVG
SVG, scales to any size. The sphere alone, for small sizes and print.
- Download
Stacked mark with wordmark, SVG
SVG, scales to any size. Mark above the wordmark, for a cover or a poster.
- Download
Mark without the ring
PNG, 172 by 181 px. The earlier mark. Fine where the ring is already on the page.
Keep clear space around the mark at least the height of the sphere.
Keep the colors. No recoloring, no gradients of your own, no outlines.
Write Revel Sphere as two capitalized words in a sentence, singular. The lowercase wordmark is for the mark only.
Do not place the mark on a busy photo or next to another organization's logo as if they were one.
Words
The words we use, and the ones we skip.
Use
Community members, organizers, volunteers.
People first. Say who they are, not what they are to a product.
Together, alongside, shared, ours.
The work is co-created. The language should sound like it.
Build, plant, gather, show up, weave.
Warm, specific verbs that describe doing something with other people.
What becomes possible.
Describe the outcome on its own terms: by the end of the week I knew three community members by name.
Skip
Users.
Say community members, organizers or volunteers.
Comparisons with other tools.
Describe what Revel Sphere makes possible. It stands on its own, so let it.
Numbers about money.
Public posts never carry what a referral pays or what a plan costs. That is rule three.
Pressure.
No countdowns, no fear of missing out. Share it on a Tuesday, in plain words.
The three rules
They travel with every post.
You accepted these when you applied. Every sample above keeps them, and so should anything you write yourself.
Say it is your link.
Wherever you share it, say so in plain words: a line in the newsletter, a note in the post. People deserve to know.
No ads on our name.
No paid search or paid social that bids on the Revel Sphere name. Share the link where you already have a voice.
No numbers about money in public.
What a referral pays is between you and your partner page. Public posts talk about what Revel Sphere makes possible, never about what you make.
