Consulting for mission-based teams

Build the systems your mission runs on.

Process and operations, a website your funders and volunteers feel at home on, custom platform setups, white-label builds, fractional IT and operations leadership, on-site training — shaped around the way your team actually works. Pick what fits below and watch a baseline estimate come together.

Free 30-minute scoping call · no obligation · you see the price before you commit.

  • A free 30-minute call first

We talk it through before anything else — no obligation, no slides.

  • See the price before you commit

Every engagement opens with a short, fixed-scope Statement of Work.

  • On-site or remote

In person on California’s Central Coast, remote with teams across the US.

  • Built for mission budgets

Sliding-scale and milestone pricing for small nonprofits and grant-funded teams.

Shape your engagement

Pick what fits. Watch the estimate build.

Tap any services that fit and a baseline range assembles as you go — then carry your selection straight into a scope. Mix as many as you like; we sort the exact shape and price together on a free call.

Small nonprofits and grant-funded teams: I keep a few mission-aligned engagements at sliding-scale or milestone-based pricing each season — ask on the call.

How an engagement works

Clear scope before any commitment.

  1. 1

    A free scoping call

30 minutes to hear what you’re building toward and where you’d like a hand. No slides, no pressure.

  2. 2

    A short, fixed-scope SOW

You get a clear Statement of Work — what we’ll do together, the timeline, and a fixed price — before any commitment.

  3. 3

    We build it together

Hands-on work with your team in the loop, so the systems make sense to the people who’ll run them.

  4. 4

    Handoff & training

Documentation and a walk-through so the work holds after the engagement — including on-site training when it helps.

Mutual aid, in practice

A studio of pro tools, shared with your mission.

Good tools are expensive to keep sharp. I carry a working studio of premium design, motion, AI, and automation tools year-round — and your project taps it directly. You get the quality those tools make possible, at a reasonable time and cost, without standing up the stack yourself. For a single engagement or an ongoing one.

  • Design & brand

Identity, layouts, decks, and print that look the part for funders and the people you serve.

  • Motion & video

Short promos, explainers, and social clips that carry your story further.

  • AI copilots

Drafting, research, and content at volume — so a small team moves like a bigger one.

  • Automation & integration

Wiring the tools you already use so the busywork runs itself.

  • Web & build

Sites, signup flows, and custom setups, built to last past launch.

  • Analytics & reporting

Clear, funder-ready numbers pulled from the work itself.

Short-term or ongoing, the toolset comes with the engagement — you tap it, you don’t fund it. That’s part of how the work stays quality and the pricing stays reasonable.

What an engagement looks like

The shape of the work, and where it lands.

Coalition

One white-label home across ten member orgs.

A shared volunteer portal under the coalition’s brand, with reporting every partner can pull for their own funder — set up, branded, and handed off with training.

Small nonprofit

A calmer annual report, by design.

Signups, hours, and outcomes brought into one place, so the year-end numbers come together straight from the work itself.

Grant-funded pilot

A site and a flow staff can run after year one.

A custom site, a volunteer onboarding flow, and documentation, so the program keeps moving once the launch consultant rolls off.

Mission-driven business

Clearer operations and a team that leads them.

A process tune-up paired with hands-on project-management coaching, so the people doing the work own the systems that hold it together.

Illustrative examples of the kinds of engagements I take on — not specific clients.

Who you’d work with

A long-time volunteer who builds for a living.

Revel Sphere grew out of years of volunteering and a desire to make community work a little more organized. I take on a small roster of engagements at a time — wearing a few hats: strategic and technical project manager, change leader, IT and tech-stack optimizer, and operations specialist.

Comfortable around 501(c)(3) operations, volunteer management, grant reporting, digital transformation, community engagement platforms, and the capacity-building work that keeps small teams steady between funding cycles. Modest by design, so the work stays hands-on.

And the studio of premium tools I keep running comes with me — so your mission gets studio-grade output without carrying the cost of the studio.

Questions, answered.

Who do you work with?

Nonprofits, social enterprises, mission-driven businesses and B-corps, coalitions and networks, faith and community groups, and grant-funded programs. If your work is in service of a mission, you’re in the right place.

Can you come on-site?

Yes. I’ll come to your office, sit in on your meetings, and coach your team on project-management skills in person. I’m rooted on California’s Central Coast and work remotely with teams across the US.

How does pricing work?

The ranges in the scope builder are baselines to set expectations. Every engagement opens with a free scoping call and a short, fixed-scope SOW with a clear price — so you know the number before you commit. Small nonprofits and grant-funded teams: ask about sliding-scale and milestone-based pricing.

Do I have to use Revel Sphere?

Not at all. The platform is one option when it fits. The website, process, operations, and training work all stand on their own — bring whatever tools your team already loves.

What if I’m not sure what I need?

That’s common, and welcome. Pick “Not sure yet — help me scope it,” tell me what you’d like to be true, and we’ll shape the right scope together on the call.
