Terms of Service
Effective August 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Revel Sphere LLC (“Revel Sphere,” “we,” “us”), the company that operates revelsphere.org and the Revel Sphere apps. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you’re using Revel Sphere on behalf of an organization, you’re agreeing for that organization too.
1. What Revel Sphere is
Revel Sphere is a community engagement platform: spheres for groups, events and workshops with sign-ups and check-in, planning spaces, and tools for organizations. The community platform is free to use. Some organization-grade tools are offered as paid subscriptions, and Revel Sphere LLC separately offers consulting services under their own written agreements.
2. Your account
You need an account to join spheres, sign up for events, or create things. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and tell us at hello@revelsphere.org if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and events may set their own age guidance.
3. Your content and conduct
What you post — profiles, posts, polls, comments, event listings, workshop descriptions — stays yours. You give us the license we need to host and display it to the people you shared it with. Use the platform the way you’d treat a shared community space: no harassment, no impersonation, no illegal content, no spam, and no scraping other members’ information. We can remove content or suspend accounts that put the community at risk.
4. Events, workshops, and classes
Events, workshops, and classes on Revel Sphere are organized and led by community members, spheres, and organizations — not by Revel Sphere LLC. Organizers are responsible for what they host: the accuracy of the listing, the safety of the activity, any waivers or qualifications the activity calls for, and following the laws that apply to it. Attend and participate at your own judgment, the same way you would any community gathering.
5. Tickets and payments
Some events and workshops charge for attendance. When an organizer sells seats through the platform, checkout runs on Stripe and the payment goes to the organizer’s connected payout account — the organizer is the merchant of record, and Revel Sphere LLC takes no share of ticket revenue. Refunds for those purchases are issued by the organizer from their ticket sales tools. When an organizer instead links out to their own payment page, that transaction is entirely between you and the organizer. Revel Sphere does not process or accept donations on the platform.
6. Organization subscriptions
Paid organization plans renew monthly until cancelled, with pricing shown before you subscribe. Cancelling stops future charges; already-billed periods aren’t refunded except where the law requires it.
7. Disclaimers and limits
The platform is provided as-is. We work to keep it reliable and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren’t liable for what happens at community-organized activities or for disputes between members. To the fullest extent the law allows, Revel Sphere LLC’s total liability for claims relating to the platform is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Ending or changing things
You can delete your account any time (see the Privacy Policy for how deletion works). We may update these terms as the platform grows; when we make a material change we’ll post the new terms here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the platform means you accept them.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms go to hello@revelsphere.org, or call (805) 457-4667. Revel Sphere LLC is a California limited liability company operating from San Luis Obispo County, and these terms are governed by California law.
