Your sphere’s journey

Every sphere moves through six stages: idea, exploring, planning, ready, live, and completed. Advancing a stage marks a milestone in the feed so the whole group can feel the momentum.

A sphere is rarely "done" the day it starts. It grows. The journey names that arc in six plain stages so a group can see where it is and what tends to come next — without turning the work into a checklist nobody asked for.

Idea — someone names what they care about. Exploring — you feel out who else cares and what is already happening. Planning — the group shapes real tasks, meetings, and outreach in its Revel Space. Ready — the pieces are in place. Live — the work is happening. Completed — the effort wrapped, and what it produced stays on the record.

A founder or moderator moves the sphere forward when it is time. Moving forward posts a small milestone to the activity feed so the whole group shares the moment; quietly stepping a stage back never posts. You are never locked in — the stage is a shared sense of where you are, not a gate.

Not sure what comes next? Ask the Guide inside your sphere — it reads where you are and suggests a concrete next move, whether that is inviting a co-lead, scheduling the first meeting, or drafting the first event.
