Volunteer page & interest pipeline

Add the Volunteer interest block (or the ready-made Volunteer page: every open role, the full calendar, and the form) and people who want to help land in a pipeline in your Signals tab. Pick a quick sign-up or an application with your own questions; each open-role row gets an "I’m interested" link into the form. Move each person along (new, reviewing, reached out, joined), add them to your contacts, or send a sphere invite in one tap.

Find it in your sphere

How to

  1. 1In the Content tab, under Pages, choose "+ Volunteer page, ready-made". Or add the Volunteer interest block to any page.
  2. 2Open the block: pick Sign up (name, email, what draws them) or Application (adds your own questions, up to eight).
  3. 3Turn the Events block on the page to "Full calendar" to show every upcoming gathering grouped by month.
  4. 4Publish. Sign-ups appear in the Signals tab as cards with the roles and events each person named.
  5. 5Move a card along with the status buttons, add the person to Contacts as a volunteer, or send them a sphere invite.
  6. 6Sharing the page from a newsletter, a campaign, or a flyer? Add ?src=newsletter:october (or campaign:creek-cleanup, qr:flyer) to the link and each card says where the person came from.
  7. 7Once someone joins and checks in, their card shows "Since then" with their volunteer-journey stage, so you can see who showed up.
  8. 8Guests who RSVP from your website and show up hear from you once after the debrief: thanks, your open roles, and a link into the form (their card then reads "via event: …").
  9. 9Want one role to ask questions while another stays a quick sign-up? Open the role in the Roles tab and set "On your website."
  10. 10Someone belongs with a partner? Press "Pass along to a partner" on their card and pick a banded sphere with its own site. The person gets an email with a yes and a no; only a yes copies their sign-up into the partner’s pipeline, tagged with where it came from.
